The Tyler Museum of Art will hold a Teacher Appreciation Event for East Texas teachers. All teachers can visit the museum and, by showing their active teacher ID, can visit the exhibitions for free for the full day. A tour of the galleries and classroom will be provided to showcase how field trips are organized at the museum. Additionally, the museum will provide art education packets that contain teaching resources for kindergarten through high school teachers.
